VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS

• All vehicles must be legal for highway travel, licensed, insured, and have current registration in their respective state of origin.

• There must be seatbelts for all passengers.

• Vehicles must be in good mechanical repair with working headlights, taillights, turn signals, brakes, etc. Vehicles cannot be leaking any fluids.*

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAILS RATED 2-4:

• Vehicles must be of a high clearance type with a 4WD High/Low-Range selectable transfer case.

• A minimum of 31” all-terrain or mud terrain tires with a full size spare**

• Hard mounted vehicle recovery points on frame or bumpers.

*A tech inspection will happen before each tour and if any mechanical issues are found, you will not be allowed on the tour and no refund will be given. Please address any issues prior to arrival.

**We know that tire size does not equate vehicle capability, but we have to set a baseline. If you feel that your driving experience and vehicle (IE 10+ years and a Samurai on 29” tires) deserve special consideration, please Contact Us before registering for a tour.

A Note on UTV’s and Buggies:

We definitely think that UTV’s and buggies are cool and have their place in the off-road world. Unfortunately, we cannot take them on our tours as we often travel on roads where they are not legal in Utah.

MINIMUM VEHICLE GEAR REQUIREMENTS

  • Tool kit: You are responsible for any repairs that might be required on your vehicle. Guides will assist as much as possible, but you must have all the tools you need to conduct work on your vehicle.
